Border Units
PROTECTING THE SOVEREIGNTY OF THE KINGDOM
According
to the law on crossing the frontiers and movement in the borderland, the
Royal Army border units safeguard the country frontiers, control the
movement of the people in the borderland in order to prevent any
unauthorized crossing or violation of the frontier-line.
The border units personnel must get first-class training to safeguard the
borders successfully. Therefore, the border troops are posted in
watchtowers only when they have studied the law regulations in detail, and
when they are so well trained that they can safeguard the frontier under
all conditions of weather and terrain.
A
reliable border unit force requires a complete psychological and physical
fitness, first-class training, courage, high morale and real comradeship.
It is a complicated task to raise a soldier with such characteristics.
Beside personal predisposition, the border units must undergo special
training, which
is carried out all the time they are doing their military
service under the conditions, which are similar to those in war, with the
most rigorous criteria applied and proven in practice.
Although the duties of border guards are both difficult and responsible,
the Royal Army border units
accomplish their combat missions successfully, always with loaded weapons,
not sparing their own lives.
