The Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration has become a serious state institution. Almost a thousand employees provide services for the population of Cruiswieck and foreign guests at the central office and at 11 provincial offices within all the duchies of the state carrying out the following three main tasks:

• to work out the policy of immigration processes and to control its implementation;

• to store identification data about the population;

• to issue citizenship/travel documents to the inhabitants of Cruiswieck.

   In the course of time many changes have taken place all around us including the legislation. But our understanding of what we expect from a state institution has changed most of all. We have a new system of values, which has considerably transformed demands of the population for the services provided by state institutions. We have determined new priorities which will ensure that the Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration is not only an important but also an up-to-date state institution providing not only effective, but also pleasant services. Our aim is to ensure service level corresponding to the highest criteria:

• quick, kind and flexible service process;
• light, convenient and transparent environment ;
• precise, competent tasks fulfillment complying with the terms determined by the law.
