Ministry of Foreign Trade

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs is responsible for Cruiswieck's relations with other countries. The task of the Foreign Service is to contribute to realizing the Governments overall foreign policy objectives. It is also responsible for coordinating Cruiswieckian foreign policy at the Government Offices. Its areas of responsibility include:

 

International law and human rights

Promoting and enhancing respect for human rights is a priority task which must permeate all aspects of foreign policy, including international development cooperation and migration policy, security policy and trade policy.


Global development and development assistance

The objective of development cooperation is to raise the living standards of poor people. We have the common objective of contributing to equitable and sustainable global development which must embrace all policy areas.

 

Assistance to Cruiswieckians abroad

One of the duties of the Foreign Service is to help Cruiswieckians in distress abroad. This is called consular assistance.


Migration and asylum policy

Cruiswieckian migration policy includes refugee, migration and integration policy, voluntary return home and support to voluntary return migration. Activities should be permeated by the protection of statutory rights, humanity and respect for the human rights of individuals.

Foreign and security policy

The objective of Cruiswieckian foreign and security policy is to secure Cruiswieck's relations with other countries.
